After 24 years I went from being know as "Anna" to responding solely to "Magic". In 2021 I thru hiked 2193.1 miles from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachian Trail. After 169 days on trail, I realized I would no longer be content working a traditional job, so I packed my bags and moved to TN. I now work as a professional hiking/backpacking guide. These are the stories of Magic in the Mountains.

After a brief stent trying to return to the corporate world, I realized my heart was still in the woods. I decided to pursue my passion for the outdoors and accepted a job as a hiking and backpacking guide in Gatlinburg, TN. I now live, work, and play in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park full time along with my partner, Cade.
