Delaware Water Gap, PA
Yet another zero and it was lovely. It's hard to sleep in as a hiker because we're used to getting up with the sun, so even though we all slept on the floor of the church we were up around 7am. Our crew walked to Dunkin for breakfast then Sticks and Slobber volunteered to do laundry for everyone.
I asked Truffles on a date and we went to the farmers market for the famous "true love special" of a hot dog and apple pie for $4.95. We had rootbeer floats and laughed a lot, I have so much fun with him.
Gooey and hangman eventually joined us and we all went to find Sticks and Slobber before checking out the outfitter for a light resupply. We headed back to the church where we hung out on the porch to avoid having to socialize with all the wierd and annoying hikers also staying there. We shot the shit until dinner when our whole crew went to a sake brewery.
This may have been the best town food yet! The sake was amazing, they had delicious rice, ramen AND dank-ass sushi - it may even give Soba a run for their money.
We were all stuffed and hung out on the porch before bed. Truffles and I had more alone time and he said he was "trying really hard not to like me so much". I think we may have a trail romance on our hands!
