Yet another zero and I mostly have no regrets... I got to sleep in this morning (which was heavenly) and then Sticks and I went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel while we waited for everyone else to get off trail.
After Slobber, Hangman, Truffles, Pimento, Green, McFly, and Lost and Found arrived we were able to check into our suite at the Holiday Inn Express. Once we did laundry and were settled in, a bunch of us walked over to Applebees for happy hour and then to Walmart for resupply. Sticks and I bought some hair dye with the intention of dying sections of our hair.
We all found our way back to the hotel and were psyched to put the hotel pool to use, but when we got there the water was cold and only a couple of us swam :(
I came back to the room to shower and try to regroup - everyone is zeroing tomorrow since they all came into town today. If I leave tomorrow morning I'll hike out with Gooey and Pegasus, but they hike way faster than me and will probably be able to go further than me. I know a bunch of people ahead and behind me, but if I get back on trail alone I'm not sure who I'll be with the next few days. I don't want to zero again, but I am conflicted...
